Alabama RV Parks

Escapees Rainbow Plantation, Summerdale – This is one of our favorite Escapees RV parks, with huge full hookup RV sites, a dry camping area, activity center, pool, laundry, and WiFi Internet access. Convenient to Mobile, Pensacola, and the Gulf of Mexico .

Hilltop RV Park, Robertsdale – This small adult RV park has full hookup pull-thru sites, a laundry room, clubhouse, telephone hookups for long term visits, and is clean and neat. Easy access from Interstate 10.

Doc’s RV Park, Gulf Shores – Small and friendly, Doc’s is located a mile or so off State Route 59, close enough to all of the beach activities to be convenient, but far enough away to be quiet and laid back. Amenities include shady full hookup RV sites with 30 and 50 amp electric, a swimming pool, playground, free cable TV, laundry and modem hookup.

Luxury RV Resort, Gulf Shores – I was really impressed with how friendly the folks were at this campground, located on State Route 59, within walking distance to the beach. The resort features level 20/30/50 amp full hookup RV sites with cement pads, two laundries, super clean bath house, swimming pool, cable TV, and more. Don’t let the Luxury part of the name turn you away without visiting first. Rates were very reasonable for its location and what the park has to offer.

Palm Lake RV Park, Foley – This clean, friendly RV park features 160 full hookup RV sites with 30/50 amp electric, phone hookups, internet access, cable TV, and is just minutes from the beach at Gulf Shores. The park even has its own opry house, with live music every week!

Shoals RV Park, Tuscumbia - This park is almost next door to the Alabama Music Hall of Fame and makes a convenient base from which to visit Helen Keller's home, the Coon Dog Cemetery, and other local Tuscumbia and Muscle Shoals attractions. The park has full hookup sites with 30 and 50 amp service, cable TV, telephone service, a super clean laundry room that is open 24 hours, and a dump station. All sites and interior roads are roomy and gravel. The biggest downsides were that nobody Seemed to know how to pick up after their dogs, requiting us to watch where we walked, and that their sewer outlets are placed in very inconvenient positions for the average RV.
